One hundred and fifty-nine entries were received for this
year's competition from schools, youth organisations and individuals. The theme for the competition was "Disabled
People Out and About".
The overall winner was Faith Herron, of Timmergreens Primary School, Arbroath.
Faith was also the winner of the 11-13 age group. Mr Jim Anderson, Director of Education, Angus Council, presented a
shield and prize to Faith on 24 June at the School's morning assembly.
Other winners were: 5-7 age group:
Erin Donald, 3rd Forfar Brownies; and 8-10 age group: Kirsty Reith, Southmuir Primary School, Kirriemuir.
Mrs Agnes Mackay, Panel Chairman, presented the prize to Kirsty Reith during the school's end-of-term Church Service/Prizegiving
on 25 June, and, later the same day, presented the prize to Erin Donald at the beginning of the end-of-year party for the
Brownies.
All the winners received gift tokens and certificates, and all entrants received small token gifts as
a memento of the occasion.
